The purpose of the Final Presentation Video was to summarize the research my group conducted on COVID-19 vaccines and showcase our children’s book to the class. It is an extension and culmination of the work we had done. This task drew parallels to the writing and presentation of the children’s book. In any type of presentation, it is essential to keep the audience engaged and not bombard them with too much information. This relates to Course Learning Objective 1, to make our presentation practical, we had to design slides that were simple, organized, and effective. To do this, we only included main points from the paper but extended on these points as we presented the slide. Collaboration and the social aspect of presenting was also extremely prominent during this task. As a group, we designed a template on the order of information that we planned on presenting. We divided roles for the various dialogue in the children’s book, and bounced ideas on how we could smoothly transition from one slide to the next.
